I'm so pleased and honored to be included in the crow with no mouth concert series, especially in the context of sharing the evening with EKG (Ernst Karel and Kyle Bruckmann).
I hope you will join us.

EKG rarely performs anywhere, and to hear them in St. Paul in the intimate environs of Studio Z is an excellent opportunity.
They will present a realization of Morton Feldman's "Oboe and Orchestra" as well as in improvised set.

I will be presenting a set of solo soprano saxophone improvisations. No band, no effects, no tenor saxophone. I can't wait to find out how it tuns out.

  • St. Paul Art Crawl

After a great night playing at the Turf Club in St. Paul (with Casey O'Brien, Pete Hennig, Ted Godbout), it occurs to me that I should post these things in advance rather than after the fact.

So, let it be known: I will be playing with Marc Anderson and Davu Seru on Saturday 4/27/2013 as part of the St. Paul Art Crawl. We'll start at 8 pm in suite 611 of the Northern Warehouse, 308 Prince St, St. Paul, MN 55101.

The Art Crawl is a fantastic semi-annual open studio event. It is definitely worth checking out. I look forward to seeing you there!
